ABSTRACT

Photo presentation of an agricultural ditch maintenance project located within Massachusetts Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area. Details include removal of a dilapidated culvert and breaching an abandoned beaver dam in response to a local farmer concerned with increased flooding and mosquito habitat.

The presentation will describe the project review process and many layers of protection on the property. Success prevails by navigating the review process with persistence and determination and help from peers and regulatory authorities.
